It's probably one of the most friendliest bars youll ever visit! The locals who have been drinking there longer then Ive been alive are charming and humorous although a little loud and cheeky at times but nothing the guys on the bar couldnt handle. I think the patrons and the staff are what really make this place amazing!
It's a cosy, huge, old English building with so much character and history; a lot like its patrons. The public bar really looks like a mans mans bar (probably because its usually filled with grubby men who have just finished a hard day at work). All and all, if you stop in, have a beer and chat with the old guys standing on the corner of the bar or the delightful chap behind the bar youll fall in love with the Jolly as much as I did!
