Great pub on the harbour. Very open and friendly atmosphere. The patrons have varied backgrounds and are easy to meet. Many patrons have sailing interests. Some of the best beer I've had anywhere in the world was at the Loaded Hog. Centrally located to downtown. A must visit for locals and visitors to NZ.

If you over the age of 18 I wouldn't recommend this for a Fri or Sat but great for a lunch during the day with a good view of the harbour. Excellent for Tourists.

I love going loaded Hog on Saturday nights, as there are a great mix of people.
